This practice invites us to lean into self-awareness and attunement of ourselves and to others through ongoing exploration of our socialization, deep listening, and honoring traumas and strengths. All in a bid to forge fruitful and mutually beneficial connections.
No matter the topic or method, we'll incorporate your needs, values, and story into our research-based curricula. The result? Learning experiences that feel personal, relevant, and seamlessly integrated into your people's day-to-day roles and partnership needs. Because when learning resonates, that's when it truly sticks.

Hola Companeros. My name is Patty Narvaez-Wheeler. I’m a Nicaraguan-American, adult learning expert, small business owner, and mother of two with fifteen years of experience building the capacity of people and institutions in the Pacific Northwest to prioritize and practice racial equity and cultural humility and minimize implicit bias in decision making. I’m a certified instructional designer by the Association of Talent Development and I have a Master’s Degree in Social Work. My core values are knowledge, curiosity, collective care, beauty, and accountability, which naturally drive Practica, too.
Why do I do this work? I have a passion for learning and liberation and a practical belief in the power of knowledge, practice, and relationship building to transform culture and systems and help us be better humans, leaders, community partners, and stewards of our professional power. I want to equip DEIB leaders who are too often understaffed or overwhelmed with practical capacity-building strategies and outcomes they can leverage for the next steps in the journey.
This work is not meant to be done in isolation; let’s work together as way-finders and change-makers.
