We believe the strongest measure of our work is the experience of the people we partner with. Explore feedback from leaders, organizations, and participants who have trusted Práctica Consulting.

As Love & Justice Alliance, a 501(c)(4), worked in 2026to identify community priorities and develop a policy and advocacy agenda grounded in community voice, Patty served as a true strategic thought partner throughout the engagement. She brought analytical rigor, strong communication, and a deep commitment to our organizational values while helping us make sense of a complex landscape of research and community data. She thoughtfully expanded beyond the original sources we provided, surfaced meaningful insights and considerations for future action, and remained responsive as the scope evolved. Her ability to navigate ambiguity, build trust, and bring clarity to complex information made her a great partner.

Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle partnered with Practica Consulting to develop a tailored learning experience for our organization to build cultural humility competency. Patty’s collaborative and iterative approach provided time and space for our project team to contribute ideas and suggestions to the learning solutions, ensuring its relevance to our context. In the learning events, it was evident she incorporated our insights and conducted her own research on wildlife conservation, zoos, and aquariums, making the examples and exercises relevant and relatable. Additionally, she leveraged our strategic and DEAI plans to further align the capacity building with our organization, reinforcing that cultural humility benefits our communities, our business, and our field.

Working with Practica Consulting felt less like working with a consultant and more like teaming up with a partner. Patty took the time and effort to truly listen to staff, leadership, and elected officials to understand our needs and goals. She successfully developed our Racial Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion foundations learning program and our internal capacity for implementing it. Our partnership was successful, with a supermajority of our facilitators and participants reporting that the program achieved every objective. As a DEI practitioner in government, it was such a relief to work with someone who not only understood the work but also how to navigate doing it within a City with a wide range of audiences and at different levels of understanding DEIB.

Practica Consulting partnered with us to identify ways to better serve and partner with BIPOC communities and culturally specific service providers in our service area. Using research and community and employee engagement, they met at our level of readiness while centering community voice; they identified actionable priority action areas across policy, partnerships, language access and programs that leveraged our strengths, enabled strategic community partnerships, and increased our internal capacity for culturally responsive services."

We partnered with Practica Consulting to support our strategic planning process with qualitative data analysis of leadership, employee, and patron engagement data on the Seattle Public Library's future direction for the next decade. Patty's approach to the analysis synthesized the stakeholder input into easily actionable data that identified key themes and highlighted opportunities for living into our desired impact areas and espoused values while honoring the contributions of every contributor.

"In 2022 Patty designed compelling learning solutions for our people managers rooted in employee voice, workforce data, and our race and social justice performance competencies. The learning videos she designed provided peer-based learning and also recognized our most beloved supervisors. The "Minimizing Implicit Bias " course for supervisors and HR professionals was developed with the latest research on implicit bias and with an antiracist lens. Both learning solutions have been widely viewed with rave reviews. Over 90% of feedback survey respondents rated the implicit bias learning course as engaging and useful."

" We brought Patty's antiracist Implicit Bias learning experience to our organization in 2021. It's one of the best e-learning on the market. Patty can challenge thinking while also walking people along in their DEI journey. She was skillful in leading our managers in virtual conversations, where they could apply concepts from the e-learning in very practical ways in their roles and within their teams. We continue to hear positive feedback from those who participated, receiving multiple messages about how the training was meaningful, thought-provoking, and one of our best e-learnings. "

As part of our congregation's commitment to racial justice, community engagement, and leadership development, we partnered with Patty at Práctica Consulting to design a workshop that deepened our understanding of implicit bias in the context of our decision-making as church leaders and committee members. While much of Patty's work is with larger organizations and institutions, we were fortunate to benefit from her expertise through this engagement with her home faith community.
Patty thoughtfully adapted her curriculum to our specific needs and guided us through a collaborative design process that resulted in an engaging, relevant, and practice-oriented experience. She gave us the space to apply our learning to real-world challenges and opportunities, leaving participants inspired, empowered, and equipped to carry this work forward. The experience proved even more valuable than we imagined.
"More than a workshop—this was a catalyst for reflection, accountability, and real change within our congregation."

I'll bring adult learning best practices and equity and inclusion subject matter expertise create engaging and powerful capacity building solutions and strategic guidance that activate workforce transformation.
